Beros stud has been in existence for 20 years breeding Welsh Mountain Ponies. Prior to that we bred Irish Draught and Warmblood crosses.

 We swapped our home in Surrey for a small holding in Cornwall and moved from Cornwall to  West Wales to fulfil our wildest dreams - the passion for breeding our beloved Welsh Mountain Ponies.

The farm of 40 acres is surrounded by lush Towy Valley grass growing, it is said from some of the finest arable land in Wales. We have a small flock of Ryeland sheep to compliment our  herd of champion broodmares,  youngstock and two stallions.

Our policy has always been conformation first followed by type and temperament as we believe the future of our Beros Ponies to be under saddle. We enjoy producing for the show ring and compete with the best in the land with both our home bred youngstock plus stallions and mares alike.
